Description

Assistant Manager Special Projects will oversee critical initiatives to support the CEO and drive organizational objectives to successful fruition. They must possess clarity of thought, a keen design sensibility, proficient writing skills, and a penchant for creativity and innovation, alongside assertiveness.

Project Management 

  • Develop dashboards and reports to monitor the performance of TCF schools.
  • Formulate comprehensive work plans, monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), and ensure timely delivery of objectives across departments.
  • Facilitate the operational cadence of regular interactions, forums, and reviews attended or led by the CEO.
  • Spearhead special projects on behalf of the CEO, including establishing timelines, coordinating deliverables with other departments, and liaising with external consultants.
  • Conduct research activities such as yearly socio-economic surveys and educational landscape scoping, analyzing gathered data to derive actionable insights for presentation to the CEO.
  • Conduct detailed mapping of workflows and processes, leading to business process re-engineering.
  • Continuously evaluate and update project status for reporting purposes, recommending adjustments when necessary

Communication and Coordination:

  • Prepare compelling presentations for the CEO to be showcased at various conferences, seminars, and corporate
  • Schedule and organize Core Group (CG) & Executive Team (ET) meetings for the CEO & EVPs.
  • Record and prepare comprehensive meeting minutes for the Executive Team.
  • Support officer coordination in scheduling and organizing regular meetings with school principals.
  • Follow up with departments on behalf of the CEO to ensure timely completion of tasks.
  • Monitor and follow up on action items arising from Board of Directors (BOD) meetings related to the CEO's office.
  • Organize employee engagement events including guest speakers on behalf of the CEO’s office.

Required Skills

  • Proficiency in using a computer (MS Office)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong analytical ability
  • Ability to multi-task and work under pressure
  • Sound research skills
  • Working knowledge of Power BI will be a plus.

Education

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Economics, Business Administration, or related field
