    Key Result Area: Policy Design
     Researching, drafting and developing HRs policy framework and procedures (including researching market practices)
     Providing guidelines on implementation of HR policies and procedures
     Establishing the need to implement new policy through analyzing organization trends, carrying out research on the subject and benchmarking against other leading employers, especially in the social sector
     Supporting the development and implementation of other specialist HR policies, guidance and toolkits through effective and timely project management and consultation with the organizations key stakeholders, balancing the needs of the organization and legal compliance
     Designing, preparing and promoting a TCF Employees’ handbook including common benefits, main policies, dress code, FAQs etc
    Key Result Area: Grievance Handling
     Setting up a grievance handling unit and grievance handling framework within HR including policies, SOPs and resourcing
     Managing the grievance handling unit whereby all employee relation grievances or queries received are documented, tracked, investigated and answered to make sure all type of questions, queries and issues are attended to. This includes training individuals in the team to be knowledgeable and flexible enough to attend to all queries and issues
    Reviewing and embedding communication channels for employees to raise grievances and issues openly to HR
     Creating unit key performance indicators to increase efficiency in investigation and response to employee relation queries
     Creating and championing an internal customer service approach within the grievance unit
     Providing leadership and solutions on all employee relations issues
     Assisting in dealing with conflict and/or claims and to resolve amicably corrective actions/measures
     Proposing long term solutions with the primary aim to mitigate repetitive claims and/or conflicts
     Seeking internal and external advice on employee relations matters, on discussion with the head of schools HR and GM HR as well as legal matter experts
     Providing legal advice on employee relation matters, where required
     Providing specialist advice to senior management and HR staff on employee relations processes as well as managing local discussions with staff & managers on employee relations issues, where investigations are required
     Leading and facilitating education and learning on employment related matters for senior management and HR staff
     Training and preparing all management on employee relations skills
     Dealing with terminations of staff as a result of retirement or dismissal (including redundancy, zero tolerance, performance related etc)
    Key Result Area: Legal / Organization Compliance
     Reviewing and designing appropriate participative/consultative processes to handle legal cases
     Conducting quarterly meetings with designated legal advisors to discuss legal cases
     Ensuring preparation and sufficient documentation of all formal legal cases including grievances, disputes, appeals etc
     Taking notes at all formal meetings held internally and externally in relation to grievances and legal cases
     Producing a regular caselist report in readiness for internal senior management meetings and working closely with the employee relations advisor to maintain this caselist
    Key Result Area: Employee Satisfaction
     Developing a high quality HR grievance service
     Working with HR colleagues in ensuring the departments core business systems and processes run smoothly
     Dealing with day to day general enquiries in an efficient and respectful manner, which supports targets associated with employee satisfaction
     Supporting the development of HR practices/systems where appropriate
     Undertaking and/or monitoring the undertaking of surveys in motivational and well-being of employees


    Bachelors in Law from an accredited institution


    At least 3+ years of working experience
