Ahsan M. Saleem  is one of TCF’s Co-Founders and the current Board Chairman. He is also the Chief Executive Officer of Crescent Steel & Allied Products Limited and a board member of the non-profit organisation, Pakistan Centre for Philanthropy.

Adnan Asdar
Director

Adnan Asdar is the Co-Founder and Chief Executive of Multinet Pakistan (Pvt.) Limited. Over the past 30 years, he has developed a rich and progressively diverse experience in the fields of entrepreneurship, leadership, management and research. Mr. Asdar serves on the boards of many other companies and non-profits, including The Indus Hospital, Hunar Foundation and Karachi Relief Trust.

Dr. Asyia Kazmi
Director

Dr. Asyia Kazmi, OBE, is the Global Education Policy Lead and Head of the AI taskforce at the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, focusing on foundational learning, effective instructional practices, education advocacy and EdTech across South Asia and globally. A former mathematics teacher and UK government advisor, she was honoured with an OBE (Officer of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire) in 2022 for her services to education, particularly for girls.

Imtiaz Sultanali Dossa

Imtiaz Sultanali Dossa has been an ardent supporter of TCF since its inception, particularly as a champion for female and secondary education. He currently serves as a trustee of TCF-UK. A Chartered Accountant by profession, he previously ran a trading company, which he sold in 2005. He also served as a trustee of an international eye charity until 2010, playing a role in the establishment of LRBT in Pakistan.

Mushtaq K. Chhapra
Director

Mushtaq K. Chhapra, TCF Co-Founder, has been instrumental in building Pakistan’s largest private low-cost school network from just 5 schools. In addition to his role at TCF, he serves as a director at several companies and is Chairman of the Executive Committee at the Patients’ Aid Foundation. He also contributes his expertise to the Board of The Kidney Centre and the Institute of Business Administration. Recognised for his entrepreneurial contributions, Mr. Chhapra was also awarded Pakistan’s highest civilian honour, the Sitara-e-Imtiaz, in 2017.

Munis Abdullah

Munis Abdullah, a graduate of the Indus Valley School of Art and Architecture is the CEO of IBL Group and Habitt. With a dynamic career spanning advertising, Procter & Gamble, and various leadership roles within IBL, he has been instrumental in transforming Habitt into a vertically integrated lifestyle brand and continues to drive innovation across the group’s diverse ventures.

Navid Fazil

Navid Fazil, Founding Director and Executive Director of Interloop Limited, has been instrumental in transforming the company into one of the world’s largest hosiery manufacturers and a comprehensive family clothing supplier. An Oxford-educated electrical engineer, he champions lean manufacturing, sustainability, and social responsibility, actively participating in initiatives like the Champions of Change Coalition to promote gender equality and inclusive workplaces.

Roqaiya Riaz
Director

Roqaiya Riaz is a dedicated advocate for education and the arts, actively contributing to TCF’s mission through her active participation in TCF’s Baghbaan and Rahbar volunteer programmes since 2008. Beyond her philanthropic efforts, she has been a prominent member of Grips Theater Pakistan since the early 2000s, using performance art to inspire empathy and drive social change.

Riyaz Chinoy

Riyaz Chinoy graduated as an industrial engineer from Case Western Reserve University. Riyaz has over 30 years of leadership experience in Pakistan’s industrial manufacturing sector. He is the Managing Director of Yaqin Steel Limited. Beyond his corporate endeavours, Mr. Chinoy is deeply committed to social development, serving on the boards of various philanthropic organisations, such as The Water Foundation and the Amir Sultan Chinoy Foundation.

Shahbaz Yasin Malik

Shahbaz Yasin Malik is the President and CEO of Hilton Pharma, leading the company to become one of Pakistan’s foremost pharmaceutical enterprises. Beyond his corporate achievements, he champions social development through initiatives like the ‘Roshni Say Zindagi’ project, aiming to provide solar energy to 10,000 rural households. He also serves on the board of Habib University Foundation.

Saadia Awan
Director

Saadia Awan is the Chief Operating Officer and Head of Digital Transformation at TCS, Pakistan’s leading courier and logistics company, playing a significant role alongside her husband in the development of the family business. She has been at the forefront of the voluntary efforts for TCF since its inception, particularly in terms of mobilising the supporters of TCF group and TCF’s fundraising efforts in Canada. As a PICG Certified Company Director, Saadia combines her corporate responsibilities with active social service.

Yasmeen Nageeb Basir
Director

Yasmeen Nageeb Basir’s experience in the education sector impressed upon her the importance of children’s education. Her passion and involvement with TCF dates back to the early 2000s, and since joining, she conceptualised and led TCF’s popular programme, Obhartay Sitaray – a fundraising initiative that has nurtured the artistic potential of a new generation of young Pakistani singers. Additionally, in 2022, she launched a medical charity for cardiac patients at the Kidney Centre in Karachi.
